Eco-friendly DetergentsConventional cleaning products tend to be based on petrochemical surfactants which are derived from finite oil supplies and are often poorly degradable and toxic to aquatic life. Machine WashingWe encourage users to consider the effects of domestic machine washing time and time again, which may contribute up to 80% of the energy used by a conventional cotton garment in its lifetime. All our stock T-shirts carry the 30C wash care labels, which are there to help reduce the carbon emissions from everyday domestic activities. We label Continental® garments: HELP THE PLANET in addition to standard wash care instructions. Our labels convey the message to the final users, to help them play their part in this global effort. |
